Overall, the luncheon was a celebration of the work that Baltimore Healthy Start does to address women’s health issues in regards to birth and women of color. It was inspiring to see so many dedicated individuals working to effect change in this important area of health care. We left the event feeling hopeful for the future of women’s health care and grateful to have been a part of such an amazing celebration.

Today, I had the incredible opportunity to spend a day at River Oaks Elementary School in Woodbridge, VA, witnessing the amazing work being done by AWS. It was truly inspiring to see the dedication and passion of the staff and students as they strive to make a difference in the world of education.
The school is a shining example of the power of collaboration and innovation, with AWS providing valuable resources and support to help them achieve their goals. From cutting-edge technology to engaging lesson plans, the partnership between River Oaks Elementary and AWS is truly transformative.
Black Wall Street Awards
The Black Wall Street award ceremony was held at the Hoodfellas Bistro in Baltimore, hosted by the bistro’s owners, Ira and Ben. The event honored the Mayor of Baltimore and other dignitaries for their contributions to growing black-owned businesses in the city. The evening was filled with great food, music, and speeches from the honorees. The atmosphere was lively and energetic, and guests were treated to a variety of musical performances. The food was outstanding, and guests enjoyed classic bistro fare with a modern twist.
