Chasing My Dream as a Professional Photographer
For as long as I can remember, photography has been a part of my life. My dad always owned a camera and being a daddy’s girl, I was drawn to the art of storytelling from behind the lens. In high school I grew more fascinated with capturing memories. We’re talking pre-Facebook!
Whenever I was asked what my dream job was, without hesitation my boastful response, “a traveling photographer” filled the room. I didn’t know then but the journey to full-time professional photography was right around the corner. After being laid off, I decided to no longer just dream about doing what I love but to jump in feet first.
I pride myself on originality, authenticity, creativity and most importantly, high quality imagery and creating the nostalgic feeling that you get when you look at your photographs. The feeling of elation and pure joy that engulfs you after that feeling is important to you—and you are important to me.
